Our Story
Souplesse didn’t start as a brand.
It started as a way of riding.
For me, cycling has always been about more than numbers or performance. It’s about rhythm. About how a ride feels. About the small moments that stay with you long after you’ve finished — the light, the road, the silence, the effort.
When Axelle and I started Souplesse, there was no big plan. Just a shared vision: to create something that reflected how we experience the sport ourselves.
We felt that a lot of cycling apparel was either purely performance-driven or purely aesthetic. Very little lived in between. We wanted to build something that combined both — products that perform at a high level, but also carry a certain calmness, a certain style, a certain identity.
Something that feels right, not only when you push hard, but also when you simply ride.
What started with designing our own kit slowly grew into something bigger. People around us connected with it. First a few, then more. Not because we tried to be loud, but because the story was real.
Axelle has always played a key role in shaping that story — from the visual direction to the feeling behind every collection. Where I tend to focus on performance and structure, she brings balance, detail and a strong sense of aesthetic. That combination defines Souplesse.
Over the years, we’ve refined everything. The fit, the fabrics, the details. Always with the same intention: to create pieces that you want to wear again and again, because they simply feel right.
Souplesse is built on that idea.
Not forced. Not overdesigned. Not overproduced.
Just a continuous ride — shaped by experience, by people, and by the road ahead.
